The rooms were new-fashioned and practical with down pillows.

Facilities were beautiful, nevertheless Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

When I am in Kongsvinger, I like staying here. The location of the venue is fantastic, not far from historic Kongsvinger Fortress as well as the Glomma valley. Excellent and very good staff as one would expect.

The room I stayed in was fantastic, truly fabulous. the best part was that this place is not just any ordinary hotel, it's actually a castle! 🏰 I loved how close it was to other museums in town, the hill, and the historic Fortress. It's such a rare and unique experience staying in a place like this.

Friendly staff at the front desk and throughout the hotel. the room has central heating, a safe, and a TV with plenty of channels. Plus, the bed is super comfy! the bathroom is well-stocked with a nice tub to relax in after a long day 🛀.

The value for money at this hotel was great, and the room was comfortable with nice amenities. The location was stunning with beautiful views and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The breakfast option could be improved with better customer service from the breakfast staff.

I had a lovely time at this hotel. The location was great, right by the entrance to the fortress. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast had a good variety of tasty options. Also, the hotel facilities were clean and the parking lot had plenty of space.

Entering the historic fortress walls, one can immediately appreciate the fascinating milieu. the location of the hotel building is conveniently close to the entrance, making it accessible. the rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable with blackout blinds for a peaceful night's sleep. the breakfast served in the separate restaurant building is great, and the view from outside is breathtaking.

The restaurant options are limited and set menus are not up to standard, as mentioned in reviews.

We had a fantastic weekend at Kongsvinger Castle Hotel & Resort. The historical fortress was beautifully restored and offered stunning views of the surrounding area. The location of the hotel was also favorable, with convenient parking just a few meters away. The proximity to the Glomma River and other museums in town made exploring the area easy. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
